Propeller Coffee Co. was founded in 2013 by Losel Tethong and quickly became one of North America's most decorated independent roasters — Roast Magazine's 2016 Micro Roaster of the Year and Canada's first B-Corp certified coffee roaster. Their Junction Triangle café and roastery runs on a state-of-the-art Loring roaster that recycles its own heat, reflecting a zero-footprint ethos that runs through everything from packaging to sourcing. Beyond exceptional espresso and pour-overs, the café hosts barista masterclasses and community events that make it as much a coffee school as it is a place to drink.
