Jet Fuel Coffee

Jet Fuel Coffee has been serving espresso on Parliament Street since the late 1990s, making it one of Toronto's oldest independent coffee shops and a true institution of the Cabbagetown strip. The menu is espresso-only, cash-only, and the house drink — the Jet Fuel, half espresso and half milk — is pulled from a vintage Faema Legend E61 for regulars who have been coming for decades. Antique bikes on the walls, rotating local artwork, and a genuinely unchanged feel are all part of the point.
