Toronto’s pioneering Arabic coffee house, where “hail” — the Arabic word for cardamom — infuses every cup. Founded by architect Salim Bamakhrama, the café uses premium Dalla Corte espresso machines and house-made cardamom syrup for the signature Hailed Shot. Traditional Arabic coffee, roasted golden and brewed up to 20 minutes, is served in fenjans with dates — a ritual rarely found elsewhere in the city.
